Nortel Networks has partnered with Pronto Networks to offer a joint solution where Nortel Wireless Mesh Networking products are connected to a Pronto Service Gateway that provides subscriber management, captive portal, integrated accounting and other back office functions.

Interwireless Gateway Roaming facilitates mobile WiFi mesh roaming with integrated accounting. This is a custom solution designed to integrate into Nortel's IWM Networking Portfolio.  Specific features were added to the Pronto's solution to support the Nortel Interwireless Gateway Roaming scenario. In some cases, the service can also be hosted from Pronto's data center in San Jose, California. Nortel Networks' mobility solution along with Pronto Networks' fully integrated OSS platform enables the complete wireless network to 'go live' in just a matter of days.
